Dr. Tanwi Bandyopadhyay

Dr. Tanwi Bandyopadhyay is Assistant Professor in Mathematics at AIIE since July 2015. She was recipient of National Scholarships for the years 1997, 1999 and 2002. Apart from teaching, she has been a Visiting Associate to Inter- University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA), Pune from August 2010 till date under the “Visiting Associateship Programme”.

Gravitation : Mathematical Aspects of Black Hole Physics; Thermodynamics of the Universe

Cosmology : Mathematics of Friedmann Robertson Walker (FRW) Models and Braneworld Cosmology

She has worked with Shri Shikshayatan College, Kolkata as Assistant Professor in Mathematics, from July 2008 to May 2014.

Dr. Bandyopadhyay has published 26 research papers in several peer reviewed international journals and presented a few of them in international as well as national conferences and workshops. She is reviewer of a few international journals. She has been the Principal Investigator of a UGC sponsored Minor Research Project.
