Mr. Mayank Kumar is an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Adani Institute of Infrastructure Engineering (AIIE), Ahmedabad, India. He has several years of research experience in the area of power electronic converters.

He is a regular reviewer for many reputed International Journals (particularly for IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, IET Power Electronics, and Elsevier Publications) and several IEEE conferences. He is also an active member of IAENG (175872), IEEE (92469214) and different IEEE societies and councils (IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, Council on Superconductivity, sensor, etc…). He has also served as Chairman of the IEEE student branch MNNIT Allahabad for the years 2014-15. He has published 06 research papers in SCI Journals (4– IEEE Trans. Industrial Electron., 1- IEEE Trans. Circuits Syst. I, 1- IET journal); and several papers in IEEE Conferences. He has received the Best Paper Award of IEEE Trans. Industrial Electron., in 2016 by IEEE Industrial Electronics Society.

Digital control of power electronic converters, FPGAs, switching techniques of dc– dc, dc–ac, and ac–ac converters, modelling and control of switched power electronics circuits, etc.

Ph.D. (Thesis Submitted) in Electrical Engineering from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad (MNNIT Allahabad), India, since July 2013.

Thesis Title: Time-Domain Characterization of Digitally Controlled DC–DC and DC-AC Switched Converter Circuits”.

M.Tech. in Power Electronics and ASIC Design from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad (MNNIT Allahabad), India in 2013.

Thesis Title: Design of an Efficient Soft Switched Cycloinverter using FPGA”.

B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from UPTU Lucknow in 2010.

He has worked as a research fellow from July 2013- June 2017.

Mr. Mayank has published several research papers in various SCI journals (06), and International / National Conferences. He has attended several short-term training programs and workshops. He is a regular reviewer for many reputed International Journals (particularly for IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, IET Power Electronics, and Elsevier Publications) and several IEEE conferences. Few more research papers are currently under revisions in different peer reviewed journals (IET Power Electronics). He is also an active member of IAENG (175872), IEEE (92469214) and different IEEE societies and councils (IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, Council on Superconductivity, sensor, etc…).
