Dr. Diti Vyas blends her grounding in Language and Literature with her training experience to “teach” courses related to the Communications area. She holds a Ph.D. degree in English literature from Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar and has been a gold medallist at postgraduate level. She has received national and international accolades for her research work by organizations such as International Research Society for Children’s Literature (IRSCL). She is a certified Business English Certificate (BEC) Programme trainer and has conducted various short and long Management Development Programmes for executives at EPM- AIIM, Sterling Hospital, Rubber King Pvt. Ltd and British Council. Her current research project focuses on Communicating Change in the Corporate Sphere and archiving Oral Narratives. She has been on the esteemed board of Ahmedabad International Literature Festival 2018 and on the Syllabus Framing Committee of Bachelor of Business Administration programme, Gujarat University.

Dr. Vyas has more than 17 years of teaching and customized training. Prior to joining AIIM, she had been associated with L.J. Group of Institutes, Ahmedabad as a full-time faculty. She has also offered courses at St. Xavier’s College, Ahmedabad, R.J.Tibrewal Commerce College, Shanti Business School, Indian Institute of Planning and Management as a Visiting Faculty.

– Workshop on “Some Leaders are Born Women: Communicating Leadership Presence” at Rubber King Tyres Pvt Ltd, Ahmedabad on the occasion of Women’s day 8th March, 2018.
– Executive Programme in Management (2018-19), a residential MDP conducted at Adani Institute of Infrastructure Management (AIIM) for working executives with an average of more than 10 years of experience.
– Workshop on “Create Your Own Comic” at Gujarat Literature Festival (GLF) Baroda on 2nd February, 2018 and Ahmedabad 7th January 2018
– Workshop on “Literature and Media Texts” at L.J Institute of Communication Studies on 18th March and 19th March, 2017.
– 5 day Workshop on “Excellence in Communication” organized by British Council, Ahmedabad from the year 2003 to 2008.
– 5 day training programme for the executives of Sterling Hospital, Ahmedabad on the topic “Assertive Communication” in 2006. Developed a customized module to help the executives address the special needs of highly stressed patients and their relatives.
– Training workshop at British Council, Ahmedabad on “Effective Public Speaking” in 2007 enabling the participants to map their thoughts, organize and deliver them in the most effective way possible.
