What’s Happening at AIIM

Summer Internship

The summer internship is a mid-course workout starting at the end of first year to broaden and deepen the student’s perspective by making available to them experiential learning opportunity. Students are counselled in identifying sector specific domain areas and functional areas that are of interest to them. Students will gain exposure to real life organizational and environmental situations which also help organizations build a long term relationships with the student community.

The First Batch of Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Infrastructure Management (PGDM – IM) consisting of 49 students.

Batch has achieved 100% summer internship placement in terms of at least one offer received.

The salient features of the summer internship placement of the first batch of 2-year programme at AIIM are :

  • All placements have been in infrastructure companies.
  • 42 companies participated in the summer internship process and 33 of them made 100 offers to 49 students.
  • 25 participants, around half of the batch, received more than one offer.
  • 35 participants, around 71% of the batch, received offer with stipend.
